Comment

The IMP and AVG titles on the obverse are ligate.

Marcus Barbatius Pollio was not the third member of the Second Triumvirate - who was Lepidus - and rather acted here as moneyer. He held the office of Quaestor Pro Praetore in the east in 41-40 BC and was probably also Curule Aedile.

Interesting fact
