Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Aureus coin featuring Galba and Livia is that it was minted during a time of great turmoil in the Roman Empire. The year 68 AD saw the death of the emperor Nero and the subsequent Year of the Four Emperors, during which Galba, Otho, Vitellius, and Vespasian all claimed the throne. Despite this political instability, the minting of coins continued, with the Aureus coin being one of the few constants in an otherwise chaotic period in Roman history.
