The Aureus - Caracalla coin was minted during the reign of Emperor Caracalla, who ruled the Roman Empire from 211 to 217 AD. One of the unique features of this coin is that it features the image of the Roman god Pluto on the reverse side, which is unusual for a Roman coin.
