Reverse

Homonoia standing left, with kalathos, draped, holding cornucopia with left hand and patera with right hand.

Lettering: ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ

Translation:
Philippopoleiton:
"of Philippopolis".

Comment

On reverse, Homonoia could be feeding a snake coiled around altar at her feet left from the patera held with right hand.

This coin doesn't seem to be listed and appears to correspond to Moushmov#5270 with a lettering variation.

Interesting fact

The coin , the Assarion of Septimius Severus (ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ) from Philippopolis (Thracia), is a rare example of a Roman coin that features a portrait of the emperor with a beard. Septimius Severus was known for his distinctive beard, which he wore throughout his reign, and this coin is one of the few examples of a Roman coin that depicts him with this distinctive feature.
