Reverse

Fortuna, draped, standing left, holding rudder set on ground in right hand and cornucopiae in left.

Script: Latin

Lettering: IMP II COS IIII P P S C

Unabridged legend: Imperator Secundum, Consul Quartum, Pater Patriae, Senatus Consultum.

Translation: Supreme commander for the second time, consul for the fourth time, father of the nation, decree of the senate.

Comment

The lettering is COS III in RIC but this appears to be in error.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features an image of Fortuna, the Roman goddess of luck and prosperity, on its reverse side. This suggests that the coin may have been used as a symbol of good fortune and prosperity in ancient Rome.
