Interesting fact
The coin features the image of Fortuna, the Roman goddess of luck and prosperity, on its reverse side. This is fitting, as Lucius Verus, the emperor depicted on the obverse side, was known for his successful military campaigns and was considered a lucky emperor. The inclusion of Fortuna on the coin may have been a way to emphasize the emperor's good fortune and to promote the idea that his reign was blessed by the gods.
