Interesting fact
The Julia Domna coin features an image of the Roman goddess Cybele on the reverse side, which is quite unusual for a Roman coin. Cybele was a goddess of fertility, agriculture, and nature, and her association with the empress Julia Domna may suggest that the coin was issued to promote the empress's role as a protector of the Roman people and the state.
