Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features the image of Augustus, the first Roman Emperor, on one side, and the inscription "ANIAR IIVIR DD" which stands for "Augoustos Basileus Sebastos," meaning "Augustus, revered emperor" in Greek. This coin was minted in Zilil (Mauretania), which is now known as Morocco, and was part of the Roman Empire at the time.
