Interesting fact

The Antoninianus - Quintillus coin was issued during a time of great economic turmoil in the Roman Empire. The coin's silver content was reduced to 2.8 grams, which was significantly lower than the standard 4.2 grams of earlier Antoninianus coins. This reduction in silver content was likely due to a shortage of silver and an attempt to increase the minting of coins to meet the growing demand for currency. Despite this reduction, the coin still maintained its value and was widely used throughout the empire.
