Interesting fact

The Antoninianus coin , which features Gallienus (SALVS AVG; Salus) on one side and an eagle on the other, was part of a series of coins issued during his reign that were meant to promote the ideals of peace and prosperity. Despite the turmoil and conflict that marked much of his reign, Gallienus' coinage suggests that he was committed to promoting a sense of stability and security throughout the empire.
