Interesting fact
The Antoninianus - Aurelianus coin was part of a series of coins issued during the reign of Emperor Aurelian (270-275 AD) to celebrate the Roman Empire's victory over the Palmyrene Empire. The coin's design features the god Sol on the obverse (front side) and the emperor's portrait on the reverse (back side). The use of Sol on the coin was a nod to the Roman belief in the sun god's association with the emperor and his role in bringing light and prosperity to the empire.
