The second design issued to commemorate the 95th birthday of HM The Queen it was issued individually. There are nine roses, one for each decade Queen Elizabeth has lived through, and 54 leaves on the face of the coin, each representing a country of the Commonwealth, one of Her Majesty’s greatest legacies. This was the first time a 9.5 kg coin was minted and at the time of issue it was the largest coin ever produced by The Royal Mint. The design was also struck in other denominations in silver proof and gold proof. Issue limit: 1.
