Low and high placed island varieties exist at least for 1862, not identified in Krause. High island appears to be substantially scarcer.

Interesting fact

The 8 Soles coin from Bolivia, minted between 1859 and 1863, has an interesting feature. Despite being made of silver (.903), it was designed with a unique "star-shaped" hole in the center, which was added to prevent counterfeiting. This distinctive feature makes it stand out from other coins of its time and adds to its collectible value.
