Comment
Difference between this and the KM#376 coins:KM#376 has a Thin Profile eagle.
KM#A376 has a Full breast Profile eagle.
These coins with this seal are known in Mexico as:
"Águila de perfil" : "Profile eagle"
But in the World collector's community they are also predominately known as "Hook-neck snake" due to the coil the snake has near the eagle's beak.
Both are valid as they are nicknames rather than official names which would only be the face value of the coin itself.
Interesting fact
The 8 Reales coin from Mexico, produced between 1823 and 1825, features an interesting design element - the profile eagle on its obverse (front side). This eagle was a departure from the traditional shield-like emblem seen on earlier Mexican coins and signified the country's shift towards a more modern, secular design.
