Interesting fact
The 8 Reales coin from Spain, minted between 1710 and 1711, features an interesting fact: it was one of the first coins to implement a new currency system introduced by King Philip V, known as the "Real de vellón" system. This system replaced the traditional system of pesos and reales and was designed to combat inflation and simplify trade. The 8 Reales coin was equivalent to 8 reales de vellón and was widely used throughout Spain and its colonies.
