Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during a time of political turmoil in Mexico. The Royalist Coinage was issued by the Spanish Crown in an attempt to maintain control over the territory, which was facing challenges from independence movements. This coin, in particular, was minted in the Province of Nueva Viscaya, which is now known as the state of Guanajuato in Mexico. Despite the political instability, the coin still maintains a high level of craftsmanship and beauty, showcasing the rich history and culture of Mexico.
