FM represents the assayer Antonio Forcada y la Plaza.Legend, representing the full title, starts on obverse and finishes on reverse.
This coin is thought to be unique: initially struck in 1786 and 1787 in Mexico for Venezuela, most have been recalled and melted in 1788.
The other examples of this type are currently considered period or modern fakes and all have different weights.
Interesting fact
