The 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics $75 gold coins were sold individually or in sets of three coins. The three different sets offered were Canadian Wildlife, Canadian Emblems and Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.

Citius, Altius, Fortius (Faster, Higher, Stronger)
These three words, comprising the motto of the Olympic movement, encourage the athlete in all of us to give our best during competition, and to view this effort as its own victory.

The only Olympic Winter Games held in Canada was in 1988,in the city of Calgary, Alberta. In 2010, Canada will proudly host the XXI Olympic Winter Games, this time in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 2007 Canadian Elizabeth II Olympics Athletes Pride $75 gold coin is that it has a unique reverse design that features a collection of athletes from various sports, such as hockey, basketball, and soccer, in a dynamic pose, surrounded by the words "OLYMPIC ATHLETES PRIDE" and "Fierté des athlètes Olympiques" in both English and French, which is a nod to Canada's bilingual culture.
