Princess Srinagarindra was born on October 21, 1900 and died on July 18, 1995 at the age of 94.She was the wife of Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, Prince of Songkla and son of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V).
She was the mother of Princess Galyani Vadhana, King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) and King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX).
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the coronation of King Bhumibol Adulyadej, also known as Rama IX, and features an image of his mother, Princess Srinagarindra, on the obverse side.
