Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Token 6 Pence (Yorkshire - Hull / Rudston and Preston) 1811 from United Kingdom is that it was issued during a time when there was a shortage of official currency in circulation, particularly in rural areas. As a result, private token issuers, such as Rudston and Preston, were authorized to produce their own coins to fill the gap. This coin, made of silver and weighing 2.0 grams, was one of the many tokens issued during this period, and it remains a unique and interesting piece of numismatic history.
