Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 6 Pence - Victoria (1st portrait; 1st type) coin is that it was the first coin to feature the young Queen Victoria, who was only 18 years old at the time of her accession to the throne. This coin was minted during her early years as queen, and it features a youthful and elegant portrait of her, which was designed by William Wyon, a renowned engraver and artist of the time. The coin's design was meant to symbolize the new era of prosperity and progress that was expected to unfold under Victoria's reign.
