Some workshops have added a half-yearly dot to indicate a strike in the second half of the year: it is located under the L in LOI for Paris and Lille; under the workshop letter for Metz, Rouen and Marseille; under the last E in REGNE for Bayonne.Only the Paris production figure is known, with 1,120,952 copies. The total number produced by all other workshops is estimated at 1.4 million, for a total of around 2.5 million ecus of 6 livres produced in 1793.
Interesting fact
The 6 Livres (Genius) coin from France, minted in 1793, features an image of a woman personifying the concept of "Genius" on its obverse side.
