Interesting fact
The 6 Groschen coin from the State of Brandenburg-Prussia, minted during the reign of George William (1622-1623), features an image of the prince on the obverse side, while the reverse side bears the coat of arms of the state. What's interesting about this coin is that it was minted during a time of great economic and political change in the region. The Thirty Years' War had just begun, and the State of Brandenburg-Prussia was struggling to maintain its independence and economic stability. Despite these challenges, the coinage of the state continued to be minted, and the 6 Groschen coin remains a testament to the resilience and determination of the people of Brandenburg-Prussia during this tumultuous period.
