Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 6 Groschen coin from County of Holstein-Schaumburg-Pinneberg is that it features an error in the inscription. The coin was minted in 1589, during the reign of Adolphus XIII, and was intended to have the Latin inscription "ADOLPHUS DUX SCHAUMBURGIÆ" (Adolphus, Duke of Schaumburg) on its obverse side. However, due to a mistake by the engraver, the inscription was misspelled as "ADOLPHUS DUX SCHAUMBURGIÆ" with the letter "I" inverted. This error has become a distinctive feature of the coin and makes it stand out among other coins from the same era.
