Interesting fact

The 500 Zlotys (Ludovicus Hungarus) 2014 coin from Poland is a unique and interesting coin due to its design. The coin features an image of King Ludwig I of Hungary, also known as Louis the Great, on its obverse side. This is notable because Ludwig I was not a Polish king, but rather a Hungarian king who ruled Hungary in the 14th century. The coin's design was created by the Polish artist, Andrzej Nowakowski, and was minted by the Polish Mint in 2014. This coin is a great example of how numismatics can be used to celebrate historical figures and events, even if they are not directly related to the country of issue.
