Different dies are known.Obverse
Die 1 - bowed portrait with signature on the right truncation of shoulder.
Die 2 - sitting portrait with signature.
Die 3 - sitting portrait without signature, bold script of REPUBLICA DE CHILE.
Die 4 - sitting portrait without signature, fine script of REPUBLICA DE CHILE.
Notes. 1. The main difference between bowed and sitting portrait is the rotation of the portrait only with respect to other fragments. After the introducing the die 1 at the next dies the portrait was rotated for 4° counterclockwise to make impression of sitting figure.
2. There are many other features, which distinguish the dies, such as size of mintmark and fonts of legends.
