The Kingdom of Bhutan 2017 Lunar Year of the Rooster coloured proof silver coin was issued for sale by the Singapore Mint in September 2016 and is the second issue of this lunar series. Minted in ultra-high relief, with relief height up to 4 times the usual height, this lunar series not only brings about blessings of happiness to the receiver, but is a master piece showcasing the innovative minting techniques. The Bhutan Lunar Rooster was issued as part of the Lunar & Attraction Series, exclusively minted and marketed by the Singapore Mint.
The coin is finished in proof and encapsulated in a square clear acrylic case, and are presented with an attractive red coloured box.
