Reverse

The obverse features an energetic dog tastefully depicted with florals, leaves and clouds. Its agile limbs are accentuated with swirls and clouds to resemble swift-like movement and exude its jovial nature. The paws are shaped like an auspicious ‘Ruyi’, symbolizing blessings of good fortune.

Minted in ultra-high relief, with relief height up to 3 times the usual height, this lunar series not only brings about blessings of happiness to the receiver, but is a master piece showcasing the innovative minting techniques. The Bhutan Lunar Dog is issued as part of the Lunar & Attraction series, exclusively minted and marketed by the Singapore Mint.

The coin is finished in proof and encapsulated in a square clear acrylic case, and are presented with an attractive red coloured box.
