The mintage of the first type of 500 Dinars dated 1304 SH is not known. 1304 SH is the beginning of the Pahlavi Dynasty and apparently the production of this issue must have been stopped shortly after the accession of Reza Shah.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 500 Dinar - Reza Pahlavi 1304 (1925) coin from Iran is that it was minted during the reign of Reza Shah Pahlavi, who was the first shah of Iran and ruled from 1925 until his overthrow in 1941. This coin was part of a series of coins minted during his reign that featured his image and were meant to promote his image as a powerful and modern leader. Despite being made of silver, the coin's value today is mostly historical and collectible, rather than monetary.
