Interesting fact

The Pattern 50 Stotin 1920 from Czechoslovakia is a rare and unique coin, with only 100,000 minted. It was designed by Otakar Španiel, a renowned Czech sculptor and medallist, and features a portrait of Tomáš Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia, on the obverse, and the Czechoslovak coat of arms on the reverse. The coin was minted in 1920, but it was not put into circulation due to the introduction of a new currency, the Czechoslovak koruna, in 1921. As a result, the Pattern 50 Stotin 1920 became a collector's item and is highly sought after by numismatists today.
