Comment
The Austrian Mint issued this coin to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the birth of Ferdinand Porsche, as well as the 100th anniversary of the production of the Lohner-Porsche. The Lohner–Porsche Mixed Hybrid was the first gasoline-electric hybrid vehicle, beginning production in 1900. The Lohner Porsche chaise was powered by batteries, with two front wheel electric motors mounted in the wheel hubs.The special uncirculated coins may be distinguished from the business strike coins by looking at the obverse. The denomination on brilliant uncirculated coins have a frosted finish, while the denomination on special uncirculated coins have a proof-like finish, like this:
