Interesting fact
The Snowman coin was designed by illustrator and cartoonist Raymond Briggs, who is best known for creating the beloved children's book "The Snowman." The coin features an image of the Snowman and his friend James, and it was released in 2018 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the book's publication. The coin's design is particularly special because it was created using a technique called "proof" which involves frosting the design to give it a three-dimensional appearance. This makes the coin stand out from other coins and adds to its collectibility.
