Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 50p Tennis coin is that it was designed by sculptor and coin designer, Ian Rank-Broadley. He is known for his portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II on British coins, and this particular design features a young Queen Elizabeth II in a tennis outfit, holding a tennis racket and ball. The coin was issued to commemorate the 2011 Wimbledon Championship and is considered a rare and collectible item among coin enthusiasts.
