Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique reverse design, showcasing the Griffin of Edward III, which is a mythical creature that has been associated with the British monarchy for centuries. The griffin is depicted with its wings spread wide and its claws outstretched, symbolizing protection and strength. This design was specifically chosen to commemorate the 750th anniversary of the reign of King Edward III, who ruled England from 1327 to 1377.
