To commemorate the First World War Armistice Centenary, the Isle of Man Government has chosen to release a very special 50p coin design into circulation.This new coin features ‘The Manxman’ from the top of the Douglas War Memorial.
This coin was handed out to all the children on the Isle Of Man at their schools as a commemoration to the soldiers who died in World War One and only a handful were released for sale.
