Interesting fact
The 50 Pence coin commemorating Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday in 2016 from Guernsey is unique in that it features a special reverse design depicting the Queen's official 90th birthday portrait, which was created by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley. This design was only used on coins issued by Guernsey and not on any other coins issued by the Royal Mint.
