The first release in the Innovation in Science series, the coin was sold individually in a Brilliant Uncirculated pack (107,209 sales) and to third parties in tubes (105,000 sales). This coin celebrates the life of the Cambridge professor who made it clear that he would like what is known as Hawking’s equation carved onto his grave.
