Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design of the Hylaeosaurus, a herbivorous armored dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, on its reverse side. This design was created by the British paleontologist and artist, Robert Farkas. The coin's obverse side features the 5th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, designed by Jody Clark. This coin was issued as part of the Royal Mint's "Dinosaurs" series, which aims to showcase the fascinating prehistoric creatures that once roamed the Earth.
