The Tales of the Earth series continues with the second set of 3 coins for the Mary Anning Collection with Dimorphodon, the third coin in the 2021 series. This design was also struck in colourised copper-nickel, silver proof, colourised silver proof and gold proof.

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design of the Dimorphodon, a prehistoric flying reptile, on its reverse side. This design was created by artist and paleontologist, Robert Farkas, and it's the first time that a prehistoric creature has been featured on a UK coin.
