As well as being for circulation, the 2004 strike was issued as part of the Annual Coin Sets, in both Brilliant Uncirculated (46,032 sales) & Proof versions. As well as being issued in a 3-coin pack (14,391 sales) with the Forth Bridge £1 and the Steam Locomotive £2 it was also issued individual in a BU pack (10,371 sales), The coin was also struck in silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof.
