Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 50p coin featuring Elizabeth II (4th portrait; Fencing) is that it was designed by sculptor and engraver, Ian Rank-Broadley. He is known for his work on various coins and medals, including the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II that has appeared on British coins since 1998. The fencing theme on the coin was chosen to commemorate the 2012 London Olympics, where fencing was one of the sports featured.
