Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design of Britannia, the symbol of Britain, on the reverse side. The design was created by sculptor Philip Nathan and shows Britannia standing on the shore, looking out to sea, with a trident in her right hand and a shield bearing the Union Jack in her left. The design was specifically created for this coin and has not been used on any other coins.
