Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique reverse design, created by sculptor Matthew Bonaccorsi, which depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in a 4th portrait, surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves and the inscription "ELIZABETH II • DEI • GRA • REGINA • F • D" (Elizabeth II, by the grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith). This design was specifically created for this coin and is not found on any other coins in the Royal Mint's collection.
