Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 50p coin is that it features a unique design, "The Snowman," which was created by British author and illustrator Raymond Briggs. The coin's design showcases the Snowman, a character from Briggs' popular children's book of the same name, wearing a scarf and hat and holding a snowman's carrot nose. The design is a nod to the classic winter tale and adds a touch of whimsy to the coin.
