The coin was issued individually in a Brilliant Uncirculated pack (10,990 sales) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the 50 pence piece. It was also available to third parties in tubes (49,992 sales).©The Royal Mint, 2019
On the outer rim the letters A to G appear on each point and are joined by arced crossing lines. A spirograph-type privy mark appears alongside the denomination.
