Interesting fact

The coin features an image of Cardinal Vincentas Sladkevičius, a prominent Lithuanian Catholic priest and cardinal who was known for his advocacy for human rights and religious freedom. He was imprisoned for several years by the Soviet regime for his activism and was eventually released and exiled to the West, where he continued to speak out against communism and promote Lithuanian independence. The coin was issued in 2005 to commemorate the 85th anniversary of Cardinal Sladkevičius' birth.
