The goddess Europa, with her hair blowing in the wind and dotted with stars, is dressed in floating flags, reminiscent of the flags on their poles on the left of the coin. 12 circles with the sign € symbolize the 12 stars of the European flag.
The word "EUROPA" on the vertical gives the series its name. The year 2013 and the different are located at the bottom center of the coin.

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Élysée Treaty, which was a treaty signed between France and Germany in 1963 that aimed to strengthen economic and political ties between the two countries. The treaty was a significant step towards European integration and paved the way for the creation of the European Union. The coin's design features the effigy of Charles de Gaulle and Konrad Adenauer, the leaders of France and Germany at the time of the treaty's signing.
