Comment

On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the Thyssen-Bornemizsa Museum, the National Factory of Currency and Timbre-Real Casa de la Moneda dedicates the fifth issue of this collection called Treasures of Spanish Museums. The complete collection is composed of five coins: gold coin of face value 400 Euro, silver coin of face value 50 Euro and 3 pieces in silver of face value of 10 Euro.

The Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum (Spanish: Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza; named after its founder, Baron Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza), or simply the Thyssen, is an art museum in Madrid, Spain, located near the Prado Museum on one of the city's main boulevards.

Edward Hopper (July 22, 1882 – May 15, 1967) was an American realist painter and printmaker. He is one of America's most renowned artists and known for his skill in capturing American life and landscapes through his art.

Karl Ferdinand Wimar (also known as Charles Wimar and Carl Wimar; 20 February 1828 – 28 November 1862), was a German-American painter who concentrated on Native Americans in the West and the great herds of buffalo.
