Interesting fact
The 1989 Marshall Islands First American Space Walk silver coin features an error in its design. The coin's reverse side shows an image of astronaut Ed White conducting a spacewalk during the Gemini 4 mission in 1965. However, the image used is actually a mirrored version of a photo taken during the mission, which inadvertently shows the astronaut's spacesuit with the American flag on the left side, instead of the right. This mistake was not corrected in subsequent mintings of the coin, making it a unique and interesting collector's item.
