Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, depicting her as Aragorn, a character from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth stories. This design was created by the New Zealand Mint to commemorate the release of the movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" in 2003. The coin's design is a nod to the country's connection to the film, as it was filmed entirely in New Zealand.
